Allan Wilson High school is a boys-only institution that is owned by the government. The school was founded in 1940 and it is the brother school to Queen Elizabeth Girls school.It enrols boys from form one to six and has a boarding facility. The average class size at the school is around 45-50 pupils.Allan Wilson has an enrollment of about 1000 boys with about 200 boarders with the rest being day students.The school has 4-7 classes per stream depending on the enrollment.
